Our 6oz stainless steel hip flask is wrapped in Abraham Moon Glen Coe Terracotta wool, woven at Abraham Moon's mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, where cloth has been made since 1837. Every cover is cut and hand-stitched in our North Yorkshire workshop and finished with tan faux leather trim, so no two flasks share exactly the same pattern placement.

Caring for your flask
Slip the cover off and rinse the flask with warm water before first use. Keep the wool cover dry and wipe the faux leather trim with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Because every cover is cut by hand, the pattern placement on yours may differ slightly from the photos.

Slip the cover off before cleaning. Rinse the flask with warm water before first use and after each use, then leave it open to air dry. Keep the wool cover dry. If it gets wet on a walk, let it dry naturally away from direct heat. Wipe the faux leather trim with a damp cloth. The flask is not dishwasher safe.

Yes. Each flask cover is made from the same cloth as our matching dog collars, leads, bow ties, bandanas and treat bags. Choose the same pattern and you have a set that belongs together on every walk.
How big is the flask?
The flask holds 6oz (150ml) and measures approximately 9cm wide, 11cm tall and 2cm deep. It's slim enough to slip into most coat and jacket pockets without adding bulk.
Is the cover removable?
Yes. The cover slips off the flask, so you can rinse and clean the flask without getting the wool wet, then slide the cover back on once it's dry.

Is the trim real leather?
No, the trim is faux leather. It's hard-wearing, protects the edges of the cover from everyday knocks, and keeps its shape through cold, damp days outdoors.
Will the lid get lost?
No. The flask has a captive screw cap, which is hinged to the flask so it stays attached even when open. No more searching the grass for a dropped lid with cold hands.
Where are the flasks made?
Every cover is cut and hand-stitched in our North Yorkshire workshop, using the same cloths and the same care that goes into our dog collars and leads.
Will my flask look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not identical. Because each cover is cut by hand, the placement of the checks and stripes varies slightly from flask to flask. That's part of what makes each one unique.
