You can choose to add curtains for extra coverage and warmth, giving your dog a truly private, secure hideaway. And when it’s time to clean up? The cover’s machine washable – just unzip and pop it in the wash.

Washing Instructions

  • Remove the hood foam and tubing before washing

  • Machine wash outer cover at 30°C

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth between washes

Assembly Instructions

Due to size restrictions with couriers, the beds are supplied unassembled. Each bed arrives in 4 parts:

  • The outer cover

  • The foam base

  • The foam insert for the hood

  • A pliable hoop to be inserted via a zip on the outer cover

Putting the bed together:

  1. Lay the outer cover flat with the inside of the hood facing you

  2. Unzip the hood zip and insert the foam into the hood. It is a very snug fit, as it needs to hold the hood up. (It may take a bit of manoeuvring to get it into the correct position). The straight edge should be on the rim of the hood, push it into the seams at the back of the hood.

  3. Turn the cover over and push the foam into the base of the bed

  4. Insert the flexible hoop into the side zip on the hood

 

UK Mainland: We offer free shipping on orders over £50. Beds are dispatched within 24–48 hours, while our handmade collars, accessories and leads may take 7–10 days during busy periods. Most orders arrive within 2–3 working days after dispatch.

Washing: Remove the cover and machine wash at 30°C. Use a gentle cycle with mild detergent for best results.

Drying: Air dry only - hang or lay flat to dry. The fabric dries quickly and will be ready for use in no time.

What to Avoid: Avoid fabric softeners as they may affect the material's properties. We do not recommend tumble drying, bleaching or ironing as this may damage the fabric and affect the bed's shape and comfort.

Maintenance Tips: Between washes, wipe down the cover with a damp cloth to maintain freshness. Vacuum the bed regularly to remove pet hair, dirt, and debris. Spot clean minor stains immediately for best results.

Important: Remove the internal rod and hood insert (where applicable) before washing. Please do not tumble dry.

It includes a firm, removable 10cm orthopaedic foam base and a supportive bolster ring, perfect for head and neck support. The structured hood has a removable foam insert and optional curtains for added warmth and security.

Classic Cocoon: Designed with a deep, fibre-filled cushion and tubular bolster sides for comfort. The flat hood acts like a blanket, allowing your dog to burrow under for a fully covered, snuggly sleep. It’s a great choice for dogs who love soft, flexible bedding without the firmer structure of the Deluxe.

Do the covers come off for washing?

Yes! Both the Classic and Deluxe Cocoon beds feature removable outer covers that are machine washable at 30°C. The hood lining and interior can also be gently vacuumed between washes to keep things fresh.

Is the hood rigid or flexible?

Each bed includes a removable hood tube for structure. You can keep it inserted for a raised, cave-like canopy, or remove it for a softer, blanket-like feel. This makes the hood customisable for your dog’s preferences.

Is the Deluxe Cocoon suitable for older dogs or dogs with joint issues?

Yes. The Deluxe Cocoon is ideal for senior dogs or those needing extra support. It comes with a 10cm thick orthopaedic-style foam base that provides a stable, cushioned sleep surface to ease pressure on joints.

Can the bed be used without the hood?

While the hood isn’t fully detachable, you can remove the structural tube inside the hood. This softens the hood and gives your dog more freedom to enter and exit or use it as a blanket-like topper.

Do you offer waterproof protection?

Optional waterproof liners are available separately. These help protect the inner foam or fibre cushion from spills, accidents, or damp fur—especially useful for puppies, seniors, or rainy-day naps.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

We recommend measuring your dog in their usual sleeping position (curled or stretched) and comparing that to the bed’s inner sleeping area. You can find full sizing charts above for both Classic and Deluxe beds. If you're unsure, we’re happy to help you choose!

Is this bed chew-proof?

While both Cocoon Beds are made with durable, upholstery-grade fabrics that handle daily use well, they are not chew-proof. If your dog is a persistent chewer, we recommend supervising their use or considering a chew-resistant alternative. Please also note that the zip may be visible when the hood is removed.

Do the beds come with curtains?

The Deluxe Comfort Cocoon comes with optional curtains for added warmth and privacy. The Classic Cocoon does not include curtain fittings. If you're looking for a cocoon-style bed with more enclosure, the Deluxe with curtains may be the best fit for your dog’s needs.

The base is made from a solid 10cm foam slab, offering orthopaedic support, and the raised bolster sides give your dog a place to rest their head. It's ideal for dogs who love a den-like space or crate-style sleeping area.

Classic Comfort Cocoon: Features a fibre-filled inner cushion and bolster ring for head and neck support. The flat hood acts like a soft, blanket-style cover, allowing your dog to be completely covered while staying cosy and secure.
